CLEAN CUBE

We have room dedicated to what we call the Clean Cube. In it, to make sure we always cover ALL THREE levels of decontamination. We don’t just sanitize and disinfect, but also sterilize! Most salons will meet minimum standards and just disinfect their metal tools. Even though that’s legal, it is not 100% effective in killing all viruses, bacteria and fungal pathogens. We use a hospital grade, state-of-the-art autoclave, which uses high steam and pressure, for all our tools after every single service. These are used by surgeons and dentists as the only way to truly sterilize their implements. All hazardous organisms will be completely destroyed!! All other tools that can’t be sterilized including buffers, orange sticks, files, and porous items are single-use and either yours to keep or thrown away immediately.

Besides our obsession with sterilizing, all our nail technicians wash their hands before and after every service and wear gloves through it. Fingernails can carry various germs and bacteria and should not be used by your nail tech to clean up polish around your nail. We’ve personally seen this being done more times than we can count! An orange stick will be used for this and then disposed of. We are doing our job in making sure all that comes in contact with your skin and nails has gone through the highest level of decontamination.
